The survivor account prospective I think is a good way to experience it. I think gives it a kind of fear and confusion aspect that would be missed if told by the Mage. I'm assuming from the removal of the apron, Carla is the barrista. Also, no one introduced themselves as Carla. Great story…interesting change in perspective.
