So, here I am at Chapter 2.

The best sign for any serial is that people keep reading it.

Enjoying it so far, see you at Chapter 3!

Athena,

Thanks for stopping by. I knew that putting ads up on Weregeek would be a bit of a stretch, but I felt it accurately reflected my humor.

The best advice that I can give is to just start writing. I find that a lot of people starting to write either hesitate to begin because they feel they might not be good or they plan a great deal before they get down to the page. Just write. You won't know if the brilliant story in your head is just that brilliant or needs work until you start it. And, regardless of the outcome, you gain benefits.

First, you'll gain experience in putting your ideas on the page. You'll learn how to capture your own unique voice in words. Second, if it's "good" you'll learn where you excel. If it's "bad" you'll learn where you need to focus development. Last, when you're done, you'll have something concrete, something that you can point to (whether or not you allow anyone to read it :D) and say "I wrote this. I have set a goal and met it."

Thanks for the tip on the typo. I'll fix that as soon as I can!

Good luck with your writing and shoot me a link if you decide to put it up somewhere.

So I found this today courtesy of a webcomic called Weregeek. It was in the add banner at the top of the page. I generally look at those to try and find new webcomics. The quote that I found up there was intriguing and so I clicked on it. I am enjoying the story and I have found the style to be simmaler to Tamora Peirce's Beka Cooper series.

I did have a question though. Do you have any advice that you could give me on writing, as I am trying to write a story myself? Anything would help.

Also I found an another typo. "king Rihennon the third" should be "King Rihennon the Third"

Another typo for you.
"The bleeps and sounds of death coming from the boys game were only a minor distraction."
"boys" is missing an apostrophe.

And since the person before me mentioned it, figure I might as well mention that I came over from Station V3 via an ad as well.

Found a typo, paragraph 4 should be "country's behalf" not "county's behalf". And “Given you involvement with United States" should be "your".
Also, I can't wait to see what on earth could be terrorizing an obscure part of Mexico.
